Playstation 5: THQ Nordic Announces June Release of Wreckfest

Wreckfest will have its own next-gen version for PlayStation 5, with tons of improvements and extras over the PS4 version.

In recent years we have had real driving games like Forza Horizon 4 or Dirt 5, although there are some crazy things that can only be seen at Wreckfest. THQ Nordic, its publisher, has announced the launch of Wreckfest on PS5, with numerous improvements and options added.

The BugBear Entertainment title is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC although Xbox Series X | S users can enjoy an improved version for new systems. In the case of PlayStation, THQ will launch next June a native next-gen version for the new Sony console.

The version of Wreckfest for PS5 will be available on June 1, at a reduced price of 39.99 euros. If you already have the PS4 version, you can update the game, although not for free. These improvements will be updated in exchange for 9.99 euros, according to THQ. 

” The PlayStation 5 version offers the best Wreckfest experience on consoles and takes full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 5 hardware. The new version not only offers improved visuals such as dynamic dirt on vehicles, better textures and improved visuals . In addition, it also works with a wonderful 4K resolution at 60 frames per second . The multiplayer now has 24 players, for an even more intense carnage on the racetracks, ” reports the game’s editor on its website.

According to its creators, this is because the PS5 version of the title includes numerous improvements over the PS4 game , with greater support for online players (up to 24 players) , better graphics, a new collision system and, of course, the haptic functions of the DualSense controller.
