Microsoft is releasing new versions of its Surface laptop. The Surface Laptop 4 will be available with an AMD or an Intel CPU. 13.5 “and 15” models will be available, with an 11th generation Intel soc or a Ryzen 4000 series. The latter is considerably cheaper.
Microsoft: The Surface 4 will be available in two models with 13.5 “and 15” screens, both configurable with different specifications. Both models have the same design as the Surface Laptop 3, in both a platinum and a blue version.
The latter is only available on the 13.5 “model. A matte black version is also available. The rest of the external specifications have remained completely the same as the previous model. The laptop has a USB-C port and a USB port. A port and a separate dedicated charging port unique to Surface models, as well as a headphone jack.
The big difference between the two models is in the CPU configuration. The 13.5 “model is available with a Core i5-1135G7, a Core i5-1145G7, or with a Core i7-1185G7 CPU from Intel, but it is also possible an AMD Ryzen 5 4680U or Ryzen 7 4980U-soc in the laptops.
Only the most expensive CPUs can be used for the 15 “model. In the Netherlands, the 15 “laptops with i7-CPU cannot be configured on the site, it is unclear whether that will come later.
All models have displays with a 3: 2 ratio and resolutions of 2256×1504 pixels for the 13.5 “models and 2496×1664 pixels for the 15” models. Both screens support Microsoft’s own Surface Pen for on-screen writing.
